Smartphone of Today, the Dream of Yesterday

When I was a kid, I don't have a phone. Then come college, I used to play with my cousin’s Nokia 3310 a black and white pure four liner text phone, which was considered as one the greatest phones ever during the time. To compare it today, I think if one has it, no one will admit. Or, do you?

To compare with the phones of today, like the iPhone 5 (the coming iPhone 5S, iPhon 5C),Samsung Galaxy S4’s Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen, HTC One’s amazing chassis with a lot of camera tricks, and first to introduce a Wireless charging phone that has a Windows 8 Operating System, Nokia Lumia 920 has it.

Yet to compare the real purpose of the phone which is to communicate with people through calls and texts, you cannot deny that the meat of the phones today are really in a distance of yesterday. Now, you can check your emails anywhere you are, chat with friends with the different social networking sites, endless updates with your photos, whereabouts and even the current event of your live sharing to our dear relatives and friends at far, and yes even free calls using Viber and Skype right from your phone anywhere you are provided you have the same type of phone. We don't need pc anymore to call from such. Smartphone can do!

But what we have now is not what will be forever, for improvements are still infinite when it comes to cameras, processors, batteries and even how we manipulate it. We might not know, the advance of technology in movies might be the reality in few years time.

Rebtel for Communicating Friends and Family through Mobile Line

Do you know what Rebtel is? Do you have love-ones abroad? Do you use to call using your regular phone?

Well, I am not promoting Rebtel but a friend of mine is using this. I am also using it for couple of months already and I can say, it does its job and doesn't get minutes if you are not using it. This rebtel works very well. If you are new, upon registration you can have 5 minutes free call. Wow, isn't it? Aside from low cost of loads, the signal is perfect too. I am calling using a local number which Rebtel programmed. If I call, I dial directly from my phone and Rebtel connect it directly without me waiting. And they can accept payment through PayPal. So this is cool. Why not try, eh? If you want to sign-up, you can even go directly to the Rebtel's website unless if  you want to sign-up on my referral which you can go through here:  http://www.rebtel.com/u/02368233262 (that would be 5 bucks for me, but as I said you can go directly to their website without using my referral). Just let me know if you have any questions.

I will stop maybe buying loads using cards 'coz it cost a bit for me and it deducts day to day after using it, without me doing the call. I am one satisfied Rebtel customer.

Isn't technology, awesome? It is now very handy to connect family and friends even if how many miles of far are of each other. Great!

New Samsung S3

Are you crazy of those new gadgets now? I mean new upgraded model? Like cellphone, iPads, iPod (facetime?) and other great new stuff? Well, to make the story short. My friend got her new S3 few days ago. Her husband gives that to her as a birthday gift and infact that is the latest phone now. Samsung becomes the enemy of Apple. The great competition is just in between the two big electronic companies! I cannot imagine how people change gadgets from time to time! Throwing up money in just a minute by buying new phone or any gadgets that is not that important in living. Ooh well, they must have abundance of bucks. Good for them.

Samsung S3 looks so nice. I tried her new phone and it is so sensitive. The cost of S3 is expensive and I cannot afford to buy it for now but maybe in time. If I have enough budget, I’d rather buy mac air laptop and that I can use for blogging easily! Yay!
