3 of My 5 Blogs are Back on the PageRank Table

You know that I have five blogs and you also know that I was not able to show-up here for too long as I have family matters to handle first which needs my attention. After all, blogging can wait. But, I did not let go of my domains other than my Food Blog (Foods 'n Bites). But hey, lo and behold I just came here as I got notification on my email about expiration of the three to which I remember I set-up an automatic renewal for it just for the meantime that I'm still thinking and debating if I have to let go of it soon or then, to my surprise, I got an awesome news! My main blog (Cacai's Steps & Journey) got its pagerank back for how many years of waiting, although it has decrease from PR3 to PR2 but hey! Who won't not be surprised of that? Not unless if you're just came in blog land or don't have any idea about it, other than that, I think everyone will be delighted and that doesn't excludes me, apparently! Ha! Thoughts?

Hooray! Smile. :-) Have a great day!

Never Ever Refresh Your Mobile Button After Commenting in Facebook

It is already a talk-of-the-web how famous this social networking is nowadays. Facebook, that is. There is no further discussion if you are going to have a debate for that. It is crystal clear in the statistics, here and everywhere in the world-wide-web. It is great, isn't it?

Okay, this is my own personal experience ( I can see on my cousins and friends too, that's their problem of why it did and now I found out why). I use my mobile when logging-in to my Facebook. You know, to connect friends and family, Facebook is just great of that. Communication is very important. And then it's not just once, but many times when I do the refresh thing after the comment I made, it would just doing a duplicate of what I wrote. How many times I refreshed, it is how many times my comment appears. What a disgrace. Ha! It's embarrassing doing that! It seems you are insulting the readers or so.

So, for your dignity's sake or what, I suggest do not refresh it after you doing such. If you think the signal is low, do not refresh until you are sure that the comment did not went-through. You can go to the Home page or Newsfeed first then you can already do the thing or go back. For me, I never ever type the number " 6 " on my Nokia-E5 (the refresh button) because it would do such. If ever, I do, I then expect to have my comment duplicates or many more. Remember that. Just a help, an unsolicited one.

How to Be Yourself

How to be yourself? Let us admit it, loving ourselves is easy but showing others who we are really, is hard. That said, most of us had to wear a mask to disguise our true feelings, our identities, and the real person that we are. You may admit to like Madonna, when truth is that you have been rooting for Justin Bieber. We choose to like what other people sense as something “cool” even if it is against our will.

Find yourself. Understand the person you really are. Look at the things you value and contemplate your choices. See what you desire and act according to your liking. Working on a trial and error process will help you define yourself more. You could take a personality test so you could assess yourself. However, be careful. You have to be sure that the test result actually defines the person that you are. It is by understanding yourself that you get to love your own uniqueness.

Avoid looking at your past mistakes and allow yourself to grow. Among the greatest mistake you could do is to fix your future according to your past. Improve yourself and make wiser mistakes. Forgive and forget your past errors, even those instances when you are least proud of. By accepting your mistakes come the love and anticipation for a bright future.

Stop considering what other people see in you. Simply put, you do not have to care what other people think of you. Allow them to think what they want without actually caring about their perception. If they think you are fat, it is merely their opinion and you should not allow their words to hurt you. Stop asking people about how they see you. It is time to live for yourself; this is how to be you.

This is a guest post by Ciel. She is a photography enthusiast and is fascinated how words can be expressed through images. She is now working as a writer for gulvafslibning, which is about floor sanding.

Keyboard 4 Keys NOW Functional

As you can see, the title speaks for itself. This is an update of my "4 Keys Keyboard Nonfunctional" post yesterday as I was using my hubby's computer at the time of posting. If you had read it, you can think I was just relax with a lot of questions, the "what if"! Ooh yeah, I was just calm but deep inside  of that "what if" consequence was a bit of torture. Okay, that was just a bit since I am no rich person that can buy and let it be delivered in a day aside from the half of the idea of not rich enough to decide quickly of whether to get it or not that quick and if ever, what unit will I have to get that could last years with great features (that would take a lot of time to think and get a quote huh considering the price).

And so, the answer is here, after a night of my laptop's resting moment. Yeah, it is NOW FUNCTIONAL from Non-functional four (4) important keys last night. Hurray to that!

My unsolicited advise is crystal clear. If you experience or will experience it, please let it rest for a night or day and check it afterwards. It worked for me, so should try too!

Keyboard 4 Keys Nonfunctional

Being in a computer most days of the week is what kind of person I am. If you know my story about computer the yesterdays, or while I was in my college years. You probably say: "that shocks!", true enough. Chances were, I was not fond of being in a computer, or scarcity supply of resources was the problem. The point is just "not a fond" and that was before. After I introduced myself on it through the help of a family member, I was like "okay" that's interesting. Alright, I think it's enough about the history (ha!), this is not about myself in the past but how it would affect if four (4) keys in my laptop keyboard would not function. You bet, I am currently using my husband's computer (I just can wish he has this Toshiba which is in sale now)  and it is not fun doing this since this is his and I have mine. The thing is, mine would not function and I really need to do something online, some task and etc. Good thing he let me lend it but this won't last for long, just only for circumstances. With that, it lets me think and begin to interrogate myself of "what if it would not function of how many tries after I let it rest for a night?", "what if it won't function forever?", "do I have that much money to change it and have it tomorrow or the next day?. As in, what? What am I thinking?

Okay, as I said I let it rest. I shut it down after the important four keys (c, h, v, t) did not functioned no matter how I tried. I am going to let it relax overnight. Hopefully  it will be fine tomorrow.

Do you think it will function normally? Hopefully. Make a guess....

Tax Time

Haven't been filed our tax yet. There's still more time since I think the last day of filing is April 15. And DH prefer the professional folks to do it other than him. It would only take some time to get it done. That some time is in an hour or two and that is it. So for now, I gotta get ready the expenses for deduction so it is only a breeze when DH tells we got to go to the tax people/company place. Much more the receipt that he keeps on telling me to find to which it is just in my wallet. There's other thing too, my expenses in my online gig to deduct on my income as it has to be reported to IRS.

For now, I gotta get that receipt and give it to him to recheck. After that, the receipts for my online gig and such. Hopefully it would be an easy-peasy thing. Time to park my laptop keyboard keys. Bye for now and all the best! ~hugs&kisses~

Summer Time!

How was your first day of summer 2011 pals? I hope you had a good time. Mine was pretty cool. My Alhambra friends (Te Claudia, Dorie and Preciel) gather in Preciel's house with the "lechon paksiw" from my baby shower two days ago was being the center food. It was yummy! I am a lechon-whore. Ha! Other than that, Preciel made some "tinolang-isda" or fish soup with green vegetables. Ah, I could not content my pangs to indulge it. Other stuffs were served too. Then had some chikkas. Riza, Dorie's nurse friend was introduced. Met and greet. She's cool. As usual, I was full. During friends' gathering, food is always good, that is why I could not control my appetite. Ha!

Then still the moving from one apartment to another continues, I meant the packing of stuffs and some other things to arranged. I just have to take time to be with my friends and some me-time. :-) Have a fun summer pals! ~hugs&kisses~

Shopping Time?

I guess not for now but maybe after Easter Sunday will be your shopping time. It is Easter Sunday about an hour from now, what have you think and plan for tomorrow? For sure, hearing mass is one of your plan and the highlight for tomorrow. It is not only an ordinary Sunday but a commemoration of God's resurrection. Okay, I admit shopping either online like urban clothes or the traditional way at store, is my stress and boredom therapy. It is the best reliever for me though not all the time when am bored. Hehe!

What about you, how do you find shopping (not a grocery shopping or an essential ones but for personal or only wants), as stress or boredom reliever too? Ooh com'on.. tell about it.. ;-)

Ideas Running Out/In from Head

What would you think about it? Seems something, ain't it? Ideas running out and coming back. But yep, sometimes it is just like that. There is something that we want to write but not enough information about it or in short, not confident of letting you read it. Now, a late post again. Sorry folks! I feel guilty of putting this up now for a blog update. I feel guilty you know.. but nonetheless because you are here. Thanks a lot for that, you are the best! And thanks for reading!

Sometimes you know, you/I really have something in mind to write but then in the end will just erase it because we are not contented. Or I can feel I am not that kind of person. And sometimes it will just erase with one push of a button. Though, it is seldom I experience the latter but I admit, I did or maybe will do. But  of course, hoping not. Hoping for positive vibes.

Whatever it is folks, have fun and enjoy the rest of the day (whatever happens, *wink*)! Remember, in every sadness you make, it's every happiness you outtake, and wrinkle you make. So be happy or stop being sad. Learn how to make yourself happy you know...

In Search of an Acne Treatment

Nope, not me, who has an acne but a friend. A friend who cannot comprehend how she got her acne. Yes, it is important to seek for a medical help and a dermatologist but sometimes because of lack of financial capacity, one is on search of the least price. Anyhoo, whatever the financial capacity status a person has, it cannot be denied that one is in search of natural acne treatment, and that is not bad, of course. That is such treatment won't harm such face or any skin areas where the acne are. Until then, one could only be free from it when it already got rid.

Planned Vacation to Phils.

I have been thinking out loud since the month of May for this on-coming vacation which me and my hubby is planning to go to this coming November or December. Oops, okay I have my ticket already which is the date is "classified" for privacy. I hope you can understand me that. I know you do because you are an understanding person. Thanks for that! Now, I ought to know and the steps of plans I have to organize before such flight date. You know you have to plan your luggage, clothes, where to go and how and ooh especially the budget. Hahaha! Now, that is what is called "TOL" as in "Think Out Loud" , hahaha!

Ideas and thoughts should have to coincide with the resources you know. You can never go wrong in the word of "planning". Sure, sometimes one could say, ahh better if I did not plan because it still is unorganized. and messed. Wrong! That is because you have not plan it accordingly, or better yet I should say, the plan has been broken as just like "promise has been broken". :( Oops! At least a person have something to follow unlike it has not. Nothing to look forward to, you know what I mean? So then, wish you or my plan will go as it is. Good luck then! ;-)

Happy Monday!

When it comes to Eastern and Pacific Time, it is Monday whereas other part of the world, it is already Tuesday. Anyhoo, have a great happy Monday to all! How was your weekend so far? Mine was okay, not bad. ;-) Though I was not able to go to church because of the weather, it is dark and rainy and to think I was the only one to go there since my DH is not a Catholic. Aside from I do not drive yet (DH take me there and forth), I was the only one who can go there. :-( It was sad but then I am also a believer of "do not cry over spilled milk" heheheh! Oops! So how about you, how was your weekend folks? I just hope you had a great time altogether. God bless!

Tanning Idea

Summer in US has not ended yet and Australia or any other places which has its same weather condition, will be spring time then. This also mean folks are still on the plan of going out to the beach, lake , pool and any bodies of water. Then tanning thought. Basking in the sun. Having a tan lotion on the go is great for treating our skin for it. Good luck for your beautiful tan skin-looking you then! I hope you all the best! ;-) Now I think of turning my fair skin to tan or bronze-looking! I cannot wait for a vacation soon, hopefully it will be realized. Good luck to me and to all concern. :-)

A Padded Mouse Pad

Having a comfortable stuff on your everyday life is such a relief of one's life. If a person consumes more time in front of computer, it also meant he/she needs a comfortable surrounding which involves computer keyboard to handle a good typing skill, a sturdy padded chair to hold user's butt (*wink), a reliable strong table, enough air for the computer and for oneself, computer mouse to hover the searches, a comfortable computer pad or alike. How do you love it? What are your struggles regarding such? Do you have a perfect environment? As for my side, I am struggling of having a traditional mouse pad and dreaming to have a padded one or anything which protects my hand's joint which talks about the bones on it. You may not know but it hurts whilst having a continuous browsing since my hands are lazy enough of hanging up its part. And so having a comfortable computer mouse with its corresponding padded mouse pad, not only brightens my day but my whole computer moments! (you can enlarge image below through clicking an item to zoom-in should you like to see it bigger)

Good thing I already found it and where to buy such. It is really a relief! Ooh thanks technology, thanks Lord for the guidance, now am at-ease during my computer moments. :-) I actually using it now and love it more!

What do you think about that padded mouse pad above? Or how do you like it?

Reward Yourself!

Yes, if you have accomplished something especially if it was that hard, difficult or bumpy ride, you had, then, motivate yourself! Reward or treat your self. Don't you think that is a good motivation for you to work harder and smartly? Why not! Why you cannot comprehend that? Oops! And how did you give yourself a reward?

One can give it a shot or unwind, maybe. You can shop something for yourself. What about dress, shoes, purse? There are actually many ways on how we can do it. But most folks just selfless. They give what they have for others without giving themselves something. Rewarding oneself need not be expensive. For me, it is great if such person you have given appreciates it. Thankful about it, or even brag to the crowd how happy he/she can be. Then your kindness is worthy. He or she is worthy of what you have sacrificed for, but if it is not? No way! You are just like an idiot, moron or alike! It can be an exhausting feeling. Whatever!

Give yourself a break, have a good time. Ha! ;-) Kidding aside but try it and you will be amazed how you feel about it. Free up! Have fun. Say " after all the struggles, this is it! " . :-)

My Internet Connection is Totally Back!

I could never be happier thinking about my Internet connection. Nope, it is not about my Internet Service Provider because its basic connection is apparently perfect, as in five bars! It is the script that I saw as what I told you the last time on my post yesterday. I was contemplating on how I got it and also of always hibernating my laptop, though it has its cooling pad aside from its fan internally. So the former got it, it is on my "Tools" menu bar. It is specifically on the "Add-on" file. I uninstall it. Though I only have few "Add-ons" installed on my browser but still it taking its toll! I should have to get its drama but it takes a lot of time on me, knowing I am not a computer wizard. I got knowledge based on my experience (and special mention to marz Pehpot as she gave me an idea unknowingly due to her shout in Facebook, thanks a lot marz for because of it, I figured it out this specific problem) as computer is my bread and butter while at home and being away from friends and close family circle. Well, it also has an interaction with what I learned from my minor subjects way back school years time and thorough process (and also to my sistah Joyce for as an IT graduate, for some reason she inspires me to like computer and Internet *wink). So then, I know as time goes on it also involves technology goes on its own way. One just hopes it is walking/running/jogging or riding in a right path and know when to take its time and responsibility.

Custom Labels

After graduated college, I worked temporarily at one big company way back how many years ago. But it doesn't mean I forgot about it. Well, we have different but unique experience as individual and include me on that. Looking back, after passing all the necessary interviews, medical exam, and all the requirements so I can have my first day, I then proceed to my uniform and a company Custom Label nameplate. The ex-promodiser just gave hers to me. But hola! The customers mistakenly thought I put my name on it since the company name was named after the wife of the owner but the mistake was because it didn't have a word "Inc." label with it, so that was the thing though it is not clear whose fault was it.

With it, I can tell myself that having it should also meant getting such from a reliable company which makes best quality of custom Labels. You may like to check Data graphics, Inc. for that which supply custom labels for industrial, commercial and military specification labels to be used as equipment nameplates, instructional labels, hazard labels and warning labels. They do not make labels for garments or clothing though. If you are looking for such, you may like to check it out and see for yourself. It is great to have the best company to do the thing and what you really wanted to.

My Internet is Back! Oops, not so :(

I have a hard time dealing with my internet connection. If you only know my past post how I really need to have the great connection and that is all I really want so anytime or during my "me-time" I can use it, maximize and can do what I plan to do online. Ooh well, DH and I subscribe for a fast connection so apparently that is also we expected to have on our end. Yes, technology could also be like that, maintenance that is. It could also be humidity that triggers the modem to turn on and off as my wireless button on it, blinks as it should have to be stable. Okay, the last resort after done the diagnose and unplugging the wire so it can rest as well as pinging, was having the ISP technician went unto our house to inspect and repair whatever is the problem. After all, we got a maintenance insurance for our internet. So it is expected to use and maximize its idea. Yep, the technician change my modem and do the necessary stuffs as in-line to his work (of course). It was then doing great but after three days it back to its "on and off drama". It makes me think I need a windows seven program or change ISP. The last resort would be getting another computer and that is awful because I don't have a budget for it. Err! Now, I will just then get the " script-thingy" which I saw mostly when my computer slows down. I believe it is from my windows or it is because of the four important updates from microsoft which it cannot update normally. I have to find it out which causes it, if it is my anti-virus firewall or stuff like that. What I have to do is back to diagnose and my basic solution hoping it could survive until I can have a budget for it. Hemm.. let us see! I feel the frustration whenever have something to do but the connection barred (or should I say it is continuously affecting my mood of updating and browsing because I cannot connect) it. :(

Boots for Cold Season

I believe everyone of us has different taste of what type of shoes one prefers to wear. Be it as for rainy season or for cold season. A weather like California which seldom rains as I prefer to call it "cold" weather when it is fall or winter time unlike most states in United States of A or any other part the globe which usually snow. Aright, everyone is unique. We have different type of taste. Just like me, as I live in California, my type of preference for my feet during cold weather are boots just like ugg boots as shown below. Only that I have to tighten my bucks shell so I can have this quality or I just use my sports shoes with thick jeans when going outdoor. Boots are great for such weather condition and hope to have flat ones to which I already have pairs of my basic colors which are brown and black (nevertheless the white I will get it next time *wink*). I hope I can already buy flat ones since what I have are those have heels. Ooh well, I was about to get the brown small one lately but it's not on my budget so the virtue of patience ranked first. ;-)

My Wednesday Wickedness (Featuring Ellen DeGeneres)

Okay, it was a bit hard on my end days ago. I just need a relaxing moment aside from the scorching heat of the sun went up to approximately 103 degrees Fahrenheit. As in I just took a bath and then minute after, the hotness went up to my body again like I got burned or was on-field without any sunblock protection, yes like I got sunburn -- only that it didn't had marked. Dehydration occurs and lips cracking, time to time I put a lipstick with a balm or petroleum jelly to soften. I actually got one canker soar (outside of my lower lip, it is small but painful). I still have a little of that canker soar now though I treat it with mouthwash (if I won't forget. lol). To tell, it is hard gargling and rinsing with pure Listerine you know, but I have to or else I will endure the pain for long. So I choose to endure the harsh treatment but guaranteed it will heal not for a day but for a week or not more than two weeks unlike if I will not treat it -- it will remain not that painful but it is for long. Anyway, I like to have a WW today. And here it is (as always, my personal takes are below on the questions).

Hi and welcome to Wednesday Wickedness. We are like other memes in that we will ask you ten questions each and every Wednesday. But our little "twist" is that each week we will pick a famous person and pick ten of their quotes. Each of our questions will be based on the quotes. Got it? Great! Let's beg in this week's meme!
Today we picked Ellen DeGeneres. Here's Wednesday Wickedness!
1. "I was coming home from kindergarten--well they told me it was kindergarten. I found out later I had been working in a factory for ten years. It's good for a kid to know how to make gloves." How old were you when you started working and what was your first job?
My takes: I was lazy when I was a kid (all I used to do was read, memorize, play , some household chores, errands that was why my grandma always yelled unto me. lol) so definitely not yet in kindergarten I worked in a factory. How I wish I can that time but factory works in the place I was raised was not common. I salute to Ellen for experiencing it. How smart her parents are. So, outside work, it was after college I experienced outside work. It used always a home works. ;-)
2. "My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is." Tell us about your grandparents.
My takes: My grandmother is not here anymore, she is already in heaven -- that was way back when I was still on my fourth-year college. I was 20 years old then. That was so sad. She was just young, 58 years old. It would be nice if I can still see her even she has dementia.
3. "Procrastination isn't the problem, it's the solution. So procrastinate now, don't put it off." Do you procrastinate or are you on top of the situations?
My takes: Yes, I sometimes (or most of the time) do procrastinate because I do things in order and thorough process.
4. "Sometimes you can't see yourself clearly until you see yourself through the eyes of others." What would others say about you?
My takes: I do not care what they will say about me as long as I did not do harm on them, I follow rules and regulations and if they want me go down, then they have a problem which they need to see a professional or a doctor.
5. "The only thing that scares me more than space aliens is the idea that there aren't any space aliens. We can't be the best that creation has to offer. I pray we're not all there is. If so, we're in big trouble" Do you believe in life on other planets?
My take: I believe a bit but in general, nope I do not believe. Hahaha.
6. "I'm a godmother, that's a great thing to be, a godmother. She calls me god for short, that's cute, I taught her that." Do you have a godchild?
My take: What? You taught her to call you god? Mm. You must think it twice or a millions. Oops no offense. Ha! ;-) But anyway, it is small "g" but still the pronunciation. Am just blatantly giving my "old school" belief for that. Again, no offense. :D And YES, I have a godchild but I do not taught/teach him & her to call me god, just "ninang" . :-)
7. "I don't understand the sizes anymore. There's a size zero, which I didn't even know that they had. It must stand for: 'Ohhh my God, you're thin.'" When was the last time that you were called too thin?
My take: That was when I was in my college years. It was a complete struggle doing school and house works as well as family thing. It was hard when you want to have someone to support you but you did not had it (at least I had but seemed not enough. I am not hard to get along with but seemed the test deeply had me). But anyhoo, I was still doing fun though, I had to or else I went insane. Err! (That was the past that already passed) Yeah, most of the folks who knew me said "you guys had a lot of food but why are you thin?" Err!
8. "I have the worst memory ever so no matter who comes up to me - they're just, like, 'I can't believe you don't remember me!" I'm like, 'Oh Dad I'm sorry!'" Who was the last person that you should have recognized but didn't?
My take: I cannot think of who that person is as of this time. I will tell you next time. :)
9. "I gotta work out. I keep saying it all the time. I keep saying I gotta start working out. It's been about two months since I've worked out. And I just don't have the time. Which uh..is odd. Because I have the time to go out to dinner. And uh..and watch tv. And get a bone density test. And uh.. try to figure out what my phone number spells in words." Do you work out? Have you ever joined a gym and quit almost immediately?
My take: Yep, I do workout but my own process. Haha. Yep, not in the gym, not ever. I have to take brisk walking at least twice a week, a promise to myself and so far so good. Hello it is just twice a week so I gotta have it or else I cannot breath to death.
10. 'We use 10 percent of our brains. Imagine how much we could accomplish if we used the other 60 percent." Do you feel that you utilize all your intelligence in every situation?
My take: I guess not all the time but trying-hard to do it whatever it takes. LOL.

Okay, that is all folks. This post should have gone live last night but I was not able to finish because of the circumstances that cannot be avoided. But anyway, just ranting and whatever. So then, have a great day to all! Enjoy and always have an extra care. :-) ~hugs&kisses~
