Name Branding

What is name branding?

Well, it is a business name, your name, or username that you used to all social networks you have joined. It is better that you will only use “one” name and not different names on every network you have joined. When there is a new social network opens, it is an advantage if you join that network and become a pioneer member of that site using the same name. In case that network becomes known, the pioneer members will definitely have the highest number of friends, links, and more.

Take an example of Friendster. They are closed now but if you were a member of this site before, you can still find your friends in Facebook, or they can still find you on other networks if you are using the same name or username. This is how named branding comes. You are the first and the only one who use that name or you are known of that name, that wherever you go, whatever networks you wanted to join, friends can easily recognize you. So, it is a great advantage that when there is a new social network opens, you may have to join that site right away to optimize and be the first one to use that name. That also goes when having your business. You need a Brand Name. Yes, when talking about business thoughts, ideas and resources.

The Use of Chatting in the Web

The use of chatting makes our family and friend and to be friends more closer even thought they are far away from you.

Blogger Giveaways Should Not Include (Not Compulsory) “Facebook Like” Button

This may already been implemented and practiced for a while now.

Having thoughts of creating a giveaway? Your first time? Or, to those who do not know, may it become a warning to those bloggers who are frequently having giveaway promotions. As per Facebook’s rules and regulations when it comes to giveaways and promotion; “You must not use Facebook features or functionality as a promotion’s registration or entry mechanism. For example, the act of liking a Page or checking in to a Place cannot automatically register or enter a promotion participant.”

Doing such thing can result to your page’s deletion as well as to the pages of those who liked yours. There are still a lot of things and ideas to read in their rules section like notification of winners and similar things. It should be done through email, sms and any other ways as long as it is not through Facebook chat, messages and other notifications within the site.

This is going to be very sad news if your thinking of having such resources, but if you want to utilize the world’s most famous social networking site, then you should abide to their rules.

Have a great day! Happy give-away-ing! :-)

Voice and Chat Now Available In Facebook Messenger Apps

It would be so nice to be able to send voice mails and chats even if you’re just accessing your Facebook account using your smartphone. Now it is made possible!

Facebook messenger apps in both iPhone and Andriod users just had an update wherein voice recordings can be sent to their Facebook friends. However, there have been complaints that the sound level is low although the speed on sending it is quite fast. Another observation was it doesn’t notify the sender if the recording has been received or listened by the recipient just like when you send a text message. This is going to be a nice development in the social networks mobile app version. Time will come video calls would be integrated making the whole Facebook experience truly awesome. These days, everyone just can’t seem to sacrifice a single minute on not checking their accounts. The site somehow,  is becoming a necessity.

Work Habits

Desirable attitude towards work is very essential. If you begin with positive attitude towards work at an early stage, there is a greater chance that you will become successful in everything you plan to do in the future.

Yes, desirable work habits include the ways you make use of your time and energy. Do not waste your time, instead budget your time to get the best result. Always remember that chatting on Facebook is just a waste of time. Do the tasks you are assigned and don’t wait for the due date. Learn to be a good worker. Let’s try to use time saved from a certain task to a meaningful use instead of texting or talking to a friend for an hour in the cellphone of non-sense. If you love your work, you will do it without counting the cost. Your work will provide the economic well-being of your family and eventually the community. The tip "love your work" and "be happy of it" even of the despite/s of (if there is). :-)

Never Ever Refresh Your Mobile Button After Commenting in Facebook

It is already a talk-of-the-web how famous this social networking is nowadays. Facebook, that is. There is no further discussion if you are going to have a debate for that. It is crystal clear in the statistics, here and everywhere in the world-wide-web. It is great, isn't it?

Okay, this is my own personal experience ( I can see on my cousins and friends too, that's their problem of why it did and now I found out why). I use my mobile when logging-in to my Facebook. You know, to connect friends and family, Facebook is just great of that. Communication is very important. And then it's not just once, but many times when I do the refresh thing after the comment I made, it would just doing a duplicate of what I wrote. How many times I refreshed, it is how many times my comment appears. What a disgrace. Ha! It's embarrassing doing that! It seems you are insulting the readers or so.

So, for your dignity's sake or what, I suggest do not refresh it after you doing such. If you think the signal is low, do not refresh until you are sure that the comment did not went-through. You can go to the Home page or Newsfeed first then you can already do the thing or go back. For me, I never ever type the number " 6 " on my Nokia-E5 (the refresh button) because it would do such. If ever, I do, I then expect to have my comment duplicates or many more. Remember that. Just a help, an unsolicited one.

Transferring of Photos Can't Be Easier

But easiest. For me, with Bluetooth of one's device, transfer of photos, videos and the likes made easier from one device to another. No need to upload or download data but just one click of transfer through Bluetooth then find the specific device you want to transfer it, and all done.

I like how easy it is, but not this time with my laptop and smartphone. Why? It's not because the other one has no Bluetooth or the signal is poor but because I did not re-install (I reformat this lappy-toppy and reinstall the programs afterwards but just the necessary ones that I usually use, and Bluetooth is not what I usually use before, so) the Bluetooth device here in my laptop. Well, I have to install it back. I have to find the CD programs of this computer of mine. Then all will be done.

For now, I have to transfer the two photos I would like to use for post through uploading it to Facebook. Ha! This smartphone I currently using is easy for such than getting its SD card and insert in this laptop. It's for the meantime.

Bye for now and see you later. Have a great day! ~friendly hugs&kisses~

Timeline in Facebook

Do you like the "timeline" thing in Facebook?

Honestly, I don't. It is just that there's no way to take it off in my profile as per Facebook standard. As to Facebook, beginning the user updates its wall to Timeline, there is no way to change it. The visibility could only be changed from your computer, on your browser, on your phone but in the Facebook wall, it won't.

I recently knew from a co-blogger that there is a chance to take it off. Her husband did the magic. And one co-blogger told a link on how to but did not checked it yet. Hopefully by the knowledgeable hands of individual (not from Facebook, because that isn't there concern, as their policy is "as is") I can changed my standard wall. :-(

Any idea how?

Internet Connection is Perfectly Fine

We are already in our new apartment abode as you most already know. As in we already sleeps in here. The old apartment we rented is completely clean, clean of stuffs. As in no stuffs left in there except the dusts, oops! Ha! Now am happy. :-) Internet connection and cable here is completely alright. Household stuffs are all run through electricity including stove to which it is more expensive than gas but it's alright. It is cool in here. When it's summer time (like now), it isn't as warm as compared to our old abode. And I can see it isn't also cold when it's winter time due to our location. Am loving it! Back to the Internet connection, yep, we had it the day we moved in. Our Internet & Cable Service Provider just had some cutting-off field step in our old abode then transfer the connection here in the new one. But of course, it needs technician to connect such stuff. Though I have already Internet that time but the arranging and other stuffs had to attend first so I was not able to be with you those three days folks. Now, am having my time. :-) How are you by the way? Hope your Internet connection is great! I missed you! ~hugs&kisses~

Facebook Improvement (or Maybe Not?)

Yours truly is keeping on-track with Facebook. We cannot deny that Facebook is the number social networking website nowadays which is good. I cannot find anything bad why this website won't be number one. Have you ever realize if social network like Facebook is not present? How can you relate the happenings of your life now? For me, it is great to reconnect family from afar and treasured friends (and even make friends but please be careful with strangers who are just lurking around to have someone victimized. Grrr! I know! :( ) And so, what I have learned was that (I am actually hesitant if it's because of my browser or the Facebook itself, but am eyeing on the latter) if we don't check the box of "Keep me logged in" , few minutes of such website being idle, is disconnected. Meaning, you already is logged-out. Then, the hassle is you will have to log-in back. The good thing is for security purposes. Okay, I/you have to see the positive side than complaining. :-) After all, it is for user's good which is great. :-) We have choices anyway.

What about you, what have you observed with Facebook?

Your Facebook Account Hacked?

I have seen several facebook users told that their accounts have been hacked. And the thoughts started to glare and think of "what happened "? questions and stuffs. Of course you do not want your friends being hacked. And lately a friend of mine was in trouble as was told and wrote nasty words to which she was not like that ever since. If you are a friend of such, what would you feel? Would you rather got angry and throw nasty words too? Ah, Internet, Facebook! Hehe! With the advance technology we have now and if we opt-in to use such, we are also obliged to know and to correspond to what it has to know. I mean, being knowledgeable or an on-going learning. It is not bad anyway having such. And the bad ones or the opportunity-seeker trying to lure user into trouble so he/she can have what he/she wants at the expense of the owner.

Okay, just a piece of advise, please always check your privacy settings particularly on the websites/apps you allow or you permit to use and hover down your profile. Yes, it is very much possible that your account has been hacked. Being hacked by the way, is illegally entering or accessing your account, of course without your permission. But when it comes to the apps/websites you permitted, that is not hacking. That is permitting his/her/them to have an access of your profile/account. That is the difference. Now, it is very much possible that your account has been hacked but it is also very much possible that the website/apps you allow did it. So please check it out. Just an unsolicited to you my dear ones. It is also great having a private profile and just add a person(s) you already knew and you know why. If not, then ask me. Have a great day!

Is Social Network Addicted?

Have you heard a person who suffered from addiction? Addiction as may say, as having no work to do than playing games in Facebook? And also to be updated with your girl/boyfriend? What ah! That is such an ah! But you never know. Not until someone close to you told you about it. Don't you think? Now, had I told you? Errr! Apparently, not me but some others but I want to know how you think about it?

You maybe not know your so-called friend deleted you, is it fair? Whatever it is, you just wish it would bring to him/her or nothing will happen. At least one's sacrifice will be recognized. :)

Have fun playing at Facebook! :)

TMI (Too Much Information)

How far are you going to give information about yourself? Are you a person who likes to write about yourself here in the web, social networking websites, journal, diary and alike? Do you put your complete name with mobile number, home address, email address, your birth date or even your social security number? The latter choice is such the very TMI thing, don't you think? You perhaps forgot the golden rule of giving your SSN. If you do it, you are also giving up your whole you. Identity theft is rampant and with you giving-in, is such a horrible and unthinkable time you input. Ahh.. you have selective amnesia? You may laugh but that is such an awful act. You may write down your thoughts but not your personal information. Social networks likely wanted your full information but that does not meant you have to be careless. You are the sole primary responsible of yourself, so be careful. Do not be tempted or giving-in your complete information if you do not like being a victim of the "bad guys" whom perhaps are also reading this. Hahaha! Peace!

You may perhaps think it will drive in visitors but in the end, they just want it to fool you around. So come to think the very possibility and please be careful. Just an unsolicited advise and a reminder. :-)

My Internet Connection is Totally Back!

I could never be happier thinking about my Internet connection. Nope, it is not about my Internet Service Provider because its basic connection is apparently perfect, as in five bars! It is the script that I saw as what I told you the last time on my post yesterday. I was contemplating on how I got it and also of always hibernating my laptop, though it has its cooling pad aside from its fan internally. So the former got it, it is on my "Tools" menu bar. It is specifically on the "Add-on" file. I uninstall it. Though I only have few "Add-ons" installed on my browser but still it taking its toll! I should have to get its drama but it takes a lot of time on me, knowing I am not a computer wizard. I got knowledge based on my experience (and special mention to marz Pehpot as she gave me an idea unknowingly due to her shout in Facebook, thanks a lot marz for because of it, I figured it out this specific problem) as computer is my bread and butter while at home and being away from friends and close family circle. Well, it also has an interaction with what I learned from my minor subjects way back school years time and thorough process (and also to my sistah Joyce for as an IT graduate, for some reason she inspires me to like computer and Internet *wink). So then, I know as time goes on it also involves technology goes on its own way. One just hopes it is walking/running/jogging or riding in a right path and know when to take its time and responsibility.

Facebook Applications, How Did you Take it?

I am addicting to Facebook social networking just like Friendster before. But I am no to applications! Aright, some of them but in general I do not really like it. If you are one of my friends in Facebook (and am sorry if you are not), you can see my profile so clean from it. One day, actually just days ago, I have something I like to which I press the button "like" which I confirm that word speaks to what I felt. But it did not occur to my mind that once I press it, it will also tell that such application could get my personal information just like my book of friends and any others which could tell what I write in there. I can tell because I inspect my privacy settings just last night. Time to time I am looking at it (and I expect you also, if not then you have to) because time to time there are also changes on Facebook. And that is not bad but you have to be aware which for sure it is on Facebook rules and regulations (or something like that) which many users just neglect it. You have to know you should not neglect it especially if you are liking something, allow applications to have it (which I seldom allow one). With "like" only one application I observed (well, everyone should have to be observant) which got my personal grants which mean, allowing them to write on my friends wall and many others which I urge you to see your privacy settings now and see if you have grant them and you can change it now if you do not like, you forgot to check it, or you have not cared for because it really is essential if you take Facebook seriously, which it should have to be.

How to Publish Blog Posts in Facebook

Be it as automatic or individual posts on your Facebook profile. It is visibly seen through pagerank that Facebook is now ahead of Twitter. You can also judged by how televisions treated the two or at least by how they told the viewers, yes, they utter Facebook first than Twitter. It is not used to be like that when Twitter is over Facebook but yeah, time change and now it's Facebook rule! Oops! :) Okay, you got me there. And now you want your blog posts be seen by your mates, friends and your closed ones. It's a great idea, so they also know what you are writing thus, your thoughts be seen and they have the will to get into it. Alright, I have Facebook but I just had (for just two or three days ago) my blog posts pulled though I already wanted it many months ago to have it on my Facebook page. I envied my co-bloggers as I looked on what they had, oops just that posts on their profile not literally but had no guts of asking how they had it. I just mind my own way and just think how would I came up with it. At last, two or three days ago I got it. And yeah, I could share it to you. Here is how I did it. (1) First, you must find a Facebook app (app is shortened as application) after logged-in on your Facebook account. You can do that by searching on the search bar or just click the "NetworkBlogs" on the bottom of one of my blog post on my Facebook profile. After that, you are now on step (2). As you can see, you are already in Facebook NetworkedBlogs page, you may then click the "like" or not but advisably, you may have to click it as apparently you like it. Then on the left side of the Facebook NetworkedBlogs page, you can see the blue colored marked word "Go to Application" and click it then you will be redirected it. Follow the instruction and register your blog(s) there, claim it as you are the owner and you are good to go on the next step on publishing your blog. Yeah you are not done yet, you need to follow the steps and instructions prior to get to the next level. You also have to get your feed settings, perhaps Facebook NetworkedBlogs cannot get it for you but mostly they're the one will get it. And there you go for step (3). Click on your Facebook NetworkedBlogs blog/s setting, then hit the Feed Settings which is located just below your blog/s shot (right side of your blog pulled posts (you can also publish individually by hitting the "publish" button if you do not like it directly posted on your Facebook profile once you have your new blog post/s). Okay, we will continue on the automatic process of posting on your Facebook profile once you have your new blog/s post. You are now on your Facebook NetworkedBlogs blog/s settings tab, mark check the blank box which is located on the center info as that meant as "Auto-publish to personal profile" which you can see above of what that blank box mean. After mark checking it, click on the marked word "Publish a Test Post" and there you can see that on your profile your blog/s link has already been posted. Hit the "publish" button after the post/s you wanted to publish on your Facebook profile individually at first so it will be pulled in to your profile then the next thing, your new post will then automatically published so no need to hit it again unless you want to republish it. You can also integrate Twitter with it, by just following the instruction on your Facebook NetworkedBlogs blog/s Feed Settings menu and done (if you have more questions about it, feel free to ask me for it and am happy to answer as I can of whatever it is)!
