Blogger Giveaways Should Not Include (Not Compulsory) “Facebook Like” Button

This may already been implemented and practiced for a while now.

Having thoughts of creating a giveaway? Your first time? Or, to those who do not know, may it become a warning to those bloggers who are frequently having giveaway promotions. As per Facebook’s rules and regulations when it comes to giveaways and promotion; “You must not use Facebook features or functionality as a promotion’s registration or entry mechanism. For example, the act of liking a Page or checking in to a Place cannot automatically register or enter a promotion participant.”

Doing such thing can result to your page’s deletion as well as to the pages of those who liked yours. There are still a lot of things and ideas to read in their rules section like notification of winners and similar things. It should be done through email, sms and any other ways as long as it is not through Facebook chat, messages and other notifications within the site.

This is going to be very sad news if your thinking of having such resources, but if you want to utilize the world’s most famous social networking site, then you should abide to their rules.

Have a great day! Happy give-away-ing! :-)

Upromise 10th Year Anniversary, $20,000 Giveaway!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPromise for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you heard about Upromise by Sallie Mae? I just knew that  this is, a rewards program that can help a parent(s) pay for college. As it has been said, it is "an innovative service that helps its members get money back for college from their everyday spending" . More so, Upromise members have received more than $600 million in college savings through their rewards program, and it wants to celebrate all the ways it has helped to fuel those sparks that made children into the people they are today and the adults they will become tomorrow. Now that's interesting, don't you think? What more interests me is that Upromise is giving away $20,000 ($1,000 to 10 winners and a grand prize winner for $10,000) to participants who share a story that tells how a parent has supported a child's dream, this is in celebration of its 10th Year Anniversary. How to join? You will have to click on the link: www.upromisetodream.com Dream Wall and submit your dream story for your child, as well as comment on this blog post and share your dream! Also you can vote your favorite stories by “liking” them. For more info and details, visit dream wall official rules. Upromise invites you to join the movement, share your experiences and give a spark to help fuel the flame of their future dreams.

I (and my husband) too, has a dream for our child. And here's my entry (posted in the Dream Wall): Though our Sarah Ann is not yet here in this real world (she's still on my tummy until midst of September, '11) , but my husband and I already have a dream for her. We always dreamed of her being a computer programmer, computer Engineer or any computer-related degree (and another minor silent dream of me, for her in a stage of beauty pageant or any social bonds, besides to that computer-related degree) one day. A fast changing world which gadgets/technology has come a long way, make lives better and a lot of choices for us to be entertained. What life is for by the way? --- for us to enjoy it! This what what makes us inspire of this dream for her. And since it is not a cheap course, we will going to save little by little (and hoping will win this contest too) for her future.

I hope you will support of me and my husband's dream for our child through voting or liking in the Dream Wall site, or commenting here. Thank you for your support and God bless of  your kind heart!

It Is Swimming Time!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Express for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

It was three days ago, Sunday at the 20th of March, was the beginning of Spring Season here in U.S. of America. And then soon it will then be summer! What have you planned to do then during these seasons? For sure there would be a spring cleaning, vacation and what else? What else to do during vacation time? We miss one half of our spring and summer seasons when swimming is not one of our activity and I truly believe it, that is my point of view by the way. :-) Now women, do you have already your swimwear? Why don't you plan to grab some women's swimwear then, before your planned for family or friends beach/pool bonding? Isn't it cool to have it before we use it? Now, that is time management, planning ahead of time. ;-) Speaking of women's swimwear, Express have the sexy ones ever. Express have its newest arrivals for Spring 2011 Collection! I personally love (it's my favorite) its embellished monokini which is paired with its pareo or the black monokini(s).  Its colorful, beautifully-made bikinis, two piece swimwear, sexiest string bikini, or swim suits are just awesomely great finds. I would also like to check from time to time the maternity swim wears (hopefully it would be available then) since am an expectant-mom. But then from those choices, its really great to have even just one pair of those! By the way, Express have also swim shorts available for men. And not only that but some spring accessories essentials including sandals, tote bags, sunglasses and hats for Him and For Her, as what you can see. You may like to check it out for yourself.

Oops! here's the catch. Express is having a Express Yourself This Spring with Express Spring Fashion! Contest. I encourage you to sign up for Express e-mail using the provided link for a chance to win one of ten $200 Express gift cards. The sweepstakes already started last February 21st and ends at April 21st (this year of course) at 11:59 pm, EDT. For more info and details, visit the sweepstakes rules. Check it out!
