Longing of my Birth Country

Suddenly I miss my birth country Philippines! This is a normal feeling that a person who lives far away from where she grew up suddenly feel lonely. I am not alone in this situation, I have friends online who lives in different part of the world and they also shared their loneliness and they are missing home. The only thing to do is to call them, as I cannot fly and visit them right away! Good that I have Sam and I have hubby to cheers me up in this time of longing. Am I in the drama mode? Okay, drama mode on. Well, let me say YES! But I accept the fact that everything will be alright. So I’d rather have to do some house chores to ease this loneliness. I will be fine in an hour. LOL! Anyway, I have to update my blogs too. I need to check emails too and eliminate some spams.

Have a great day everyone!

Planning to Buy Another Lappy Toppy

A laptop, that is. After the four (4) important keys of my keyboard were non-functional for a night, I thought of getting another computer or laptop (have to think which one really, if will be pursued) since DH wants his desktop just him alone. Days after, he suggested it to me. But then my computer is running great still and the non-functional keys are now safe and sound as in no problems now at all. It is even running better than before. And I am thinking why would I have to think of buying another one to which this is still great. And besides, there are stuffs to begin back like the bookmarks and installations, etc aside from the fact of thinking the bucks to pay for it. Yes, new is good but not this time. My computer is in great condition, the money instead has to be saved in case it will act unusual so there would be no difficult time of getting at the right moment. Happy Me! :-)

Have a Great Tuesday!

I can always remember about a virtual teacher friend talking about "Tuesday". She change the "Tues" to "Choose" so instead of Tuesday, it is already "ChooseDay". As in choose to be happy and gay. "Laugh as hard as you can as if no one's watching". Familiar line, eh?

So now, instead of being anxious thinking of the up-coming heart cath of my lovely daughter, which will be tomorrow very early morning, I choose to be happy and be positive. God will always provide, I believe. So I have to worry-not (though I had been sleepless every now and then last days thinking about it, but that's all about it). So, have a Great Tuesday everyone! We don't own our lives and anytime God will get us, HIS Will be done. There's no guarantee in this earth, everyone will go to ashes, so we must get ready for that. For now, let's enjoy. That's why it is called "present" for us to enjoy, right?

Have a great one! Enjoy responsibly!

Getting Online

(Thanks to Darwin Barton)

I logged onto http://www.texaselectricityproviders.com/ briefly at work to see if I could save any money on my electricity bill. I honestly never spend much time doing personal things at work. I only intended to spend five minutes on the site. I had been promising my husband that I would look into it. I had gotten almost everything I needed to do at work done and we did not have another patient for the rest of the day. Sure enough, while I was on the website, our office manager showed up. I did not even realize that she was standing right behind me until I heard her make a noise like she was clearing her throat. It was not actually a clearing her throat noise, but a noise to get my attention. My first reaction was to quickly close the browser ( as if that does not make you look guilty; of course she asked to speak to me in her office in front of all of my coworkers. I won’t be doing personal stuff on-line at the office anytime soon, that’s for sure!

Upromise 10th Year Anniversary, $20,000 Giveaway!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPromise for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you heard about Upromise by Sallie Mae? I just knew that  this is, a rewards program that can help a parent(s) pay for college. As it has been said, it is "an innovative service that helps its members get money back for college from their everyday spending" . More so, Upromise members have received more than $600 million in college savings through their rewards program, and it wants to celebrate all the ways it has helped to fuel those sparks that made children into the people they are today and the adults they will become tomorrow. Now that's interesting, don't you think? What more interests me is that Upromise is giving away $20,000 ($1,000 to 10 winners and a grand prize winner for $10,000) to participants who share a story that tells how a parent has supported a child's dream, this is in celebration of its 10th Year Anniversary. How to join? You will have to click on the link: www.upromisetodream.com Dream Wall and submit your dream story for your child, as well as comment on this blog post and share your dream! Also you can vote your favorite stories by “liking” them. For more info and details, visit dream wall official rules. Upromise invites you to join the movement, share your experiences and give a spark to help fuel the flame of their future dreams.

I (and my husband) too, has a dream for our child. And here's my entry (posted in the Dream Wall): Though our Sarah Ann is not yet here in this real world (she's still on my tummy until midst of September, '11) , but my husband and I already have a dream for her. We always dreamed of her being a computer programmer, computer Engineer or any computer-related degree (and another minor silent dream of me, for her in a stage of beauty pageant or any social bonds, besides to that computer-related degree) one day. A fast changing world which gadgets/technology has come a long way, make lives better and a lot of choices for us to be entertained. What life is for by the way? --- for us to enjoy it! This what what makes us inspire of this dream for her. And since it is not a cheap course, we will going to save little by little (and hoping will win this contest too) for her future.

I hope you will support of me and my husband's dream for our child through voting or liking in the Dream Wall site, or commenting here. Thank you for your support and God bless of  your kind heart!

Professional Moving Services from Meathead Movers

Meathead Movers is a dynamic enterprise founded by the Steed Brothers, Aaron and Evan in 1997. Their unique enterprise started when they helped a friend’s parents to move. Since they were also looking for some part time work at the time, they have started giving out their contact numbers to friends who might need their services. Despite their commitments as student athletes, they still manage to give the best service that their clients need. Their reputation as hard working and honest young men have grown and so did the number of clients that keep calling in that they have to enlist the help of their athletic friends to help with the jobs. Since then, their business has grown tremendously with an ever increasing workforce and a varied number of services available. The Steed Brothers have purchased a 6 acre property in 2008 at San Luis Obispo to build one of the biggest and best self-storage units on the Central Coast. Good thing they already have here in Los Angeles County, the Meathead Movers of Los Angeles County!

Meathead Movers may have grown remarkably but they still haven’t forgotten to give back to the community who has helped them achieve success. They have programs like the Cinderella Fund which aims to help children whose families are encountering difficulties. A child whose parent is suffering from a serious ailment or a child whose mom is a victim of domestic abuse -- the Cinderella Fund grants aids to children who may be faced with a similar situation. Their goal is to help these children achieve their dreams despite facing tremendous trials at the early stages of their lives. Meathead Movers donate $1 to every box that is packed by their Princesses. These funds are administered by the non profit organizations within the communities they serve. Cinderella Fund is just one of the many programs that the Meathead Movers are involved with. To know more about them and their advocacy, visit their website or their Facebook page. An idea of moving unto another place of residence is not easy, thanks to moving company that they're there when needed. Resources made easy.

SSDI

SSDI or Social Security Disability Insurance. If a person/worker is unable anymore to do the job he is currently working and possess some of the other requirements then see to it that you have come and get your SSDI benefit. For sure there is if your condition is qualified. It is painful to see our family or friend who suffered such condition but the good thing is he/she is covered, that's the consolation and assurance for being a good employee. That is why one should have a good track record of his work. Being a good follower or good worker is what an employee can do. What could be better? I am sad of a person who cannot perform his/her task anymore and am praying. SSDI is really a good help, isn't it?

Certificate of Computer Repair Short Course

I should have get the Computer Repair System but I opted for Computer Repair only. But I did not regret as I can still go for more hours in extend of what I studied from January up to first week of May for Saturday classes. Okay, my DH went with me of that class and he is very much happy for taking such as according to him it teaches him a lot. For me, I already knew most of it, though there are few that contributed a lot for my learning process. I just thought that the questions I had costs expensively. Haha! Well, that question really matters for my learning so I went for it unknowingly I have to undergo a lot of process before what I could have such. Ooh well, I love what I learned and happy, that's what it counts. And so as the previous words I wrote just speaks that I (and my husband) already done for that 64 hours of schooling. Oops, an hour cost much and it's far from the place where we resides (it's in the part of Beverly Hills, Los Angeles) but that doesn't matter. We love it and will always in our mind and skill. :-) If I did not get pregnant (am 26th weeks pregnant now), I am still continuing on that class, only in the System already which is great if I have done so but then it's also great for my situation. I planned to take a test/examination for CompTIA A+ with a review but not yet this time. Hopefully I could get it before we move to Philippines (hopefully with the help of God) next year. To top it all, the certification was being given after my (with DH) last day of class. Hooray!

Texas Injury

Are you living in Texas? Well, am just asking, nothing major. (*wink*) Texas is a progressive state. Many construction workers, industries and many more speaking of livelihood. I can just remember of my defended team (okay, am Los Angeles Lakers fan) was being wiped-out this year's NBA playoffs. Ah, basketball fan eh? Though am always Lakers fan but because they are already eliminated for championship, I am betting for Mavericks, yes Dallas Mavericks (Dallas is one city of Texas), for champion or maybe Chicago. :-) Okay, speaking of industrial thing, Texas is no exception of employees being injured in a working place. Such incident requires Texas Work Injury Lawyer to defend the side of the worker. It is not that companies denied it but it is great to know that there is someone a worker can lean on to do the job in his behalf. The one that is capable or expert of such area. There are actually many work injury lawyers in Texas but of course one would select the best that can help him better, right? So then, good luck and take the best of care. Have the best one for you, if so you or in your family circle or friend is in good hands!

Family Insurance

Or family life insurance as commonly known. What do you think of having it? How do you like to have one? Do you already have it? I don't know about you but we don't have it currently. DH purchase one before but he ended it. Whatever he likes to, he can but that doesn't mean am happy he purchase one. I don't have say anything about it, no, nothing! But then, it is not bad having a Wholesale Insurance, don't you think? If I am to choose and if I have spare money after the necessities and some wants, I can purchase for my own if ever am the one to leave first. And I see no problem of having such. Life is inevitable and no age is exempted. Old or young, kids or mothers, it is important to take care of ourselves and our family. Have a good one! All the best!

Manic Monday!

Are you in manic Monday? For working peeps, I think. But for me, not for tomorrow. Am kind of relax. I will just have to do some walking, grocery shopping which DH wasn't able to get lately and then that's it. I still have to think what to do speaking of productivity tomorrow. On the other hand, am thinking of just relaxing. Yes, stress-free! Am pregnant you know. :-) Am just glad that DH makes me feel cared always especially during my pregnancy period now. I can just smile most of the time that what I cannot do while I was not yet pregnant, I can do it now. Haha! He said, am tougher during this time. What??? Hahahah! He always lower his pride for me. *wink* He loves his daughter much. Wahheheh! Nope, he is more patient now. Oops, just neutral. I love him dearly as how he loves me.  Thanks God for giving me a partner/husband like him. Just bursting out. Hehheh! Ah, Monday thought. Drama! ;-)

I Used to Buy Baby Gifts

Yes, I used to buy gifts for babies but that does not mean I would not buy anymore. Well, I still buy until now,but the difference is that it is no longer for the babies of my friends and family circle but I have to include my baby already, one day very soon, she/he will be here with me (and daddy). :-) Babies are adorable and I cannot
content buying baby gifts specially for special occasions. I wonder if there are also will give for my baby when he/she arrives. *wink* I hope to have baby shower (not so sure though) on the first week of June (this year, of course) and I could not wait for such time.

Will Be Moving Soon!

Ah, hopefully really! I want to move before my tummy become very big. It was such long time already I wanted to move in. But due to circumstances that cannot be avoided (hubby is expecting something of this address to be mailed such and no other way like telling that people/company) and I understand. This time, I really want it! He even said it doesn't matter if the rent is pretty more than standard but the moving trouble does matter unless if I really, really want it. And I said yes, I said " I really, really want it! " . It is not only for me but for my baby soon. I do not like here in upstairs anymore. It's not easy to go down and up especially if the baby is here already. And the husband works. Let's say I wanted to go down or just walk with the stroller, can you imagine I am with the baby and stroller too whilst in the stairways?! Ah, I cannot imagine that! And also I want a new place aside from we can save when we move-in because the other bedroom has no use, so we have to transfer to a one-bedroom, one bathroom apartment since after a couple of months after I give birth, we will transfer to my birth country already for good (hopefully). And am glad DH already make an effort after listing the apartment candidates to move-in. *wink* I was the one making an effort for such list. Ooh Lord, please lead us. I know YOU are the best. I(we) hope to move as I can still move freely (before my tummy become bigger).

Anniversary

Be it as wedding anniversary, girlfriend-boyfriend, friendship, and any other anniversaries you could think of, is important to each other. Thoughtful ones must have something on that day. For him/her, gift(s) is a must but then such gift(s) does not mean an expensive (it could either be handmade should you like) one(s). Well, what is important is that each other or him/her remember such. As always said, the thought is what counts. But of course personalized anniversary gifts would bring difference. ;-) Just an idea. Seems like it only happen once a year, why not make it special and worthy. After all, the two of you are together and happy on each other. Give him/her something that would make special and feel very love. ;-) Just saying, happy anniversary to those who are celebrating this day and on the coming days. All the best on yours couple! More blissful years and enjoy! ~hugs&kisses~

Health Plans

In life, there is only two health statuses. Being healthy and sick. Where are you at that? I hope the former (or God forbid!). Well, being sick is just like a normal thing in life. But being hospitalized is another one. It is okay if a person can control his/her illness or such can be just treated at home. But if not, then financial status is at trouble. Okay, it is not that so if you are being prepared such incidents. Either if you have a lot of money or you have put-up little by little on health plan. If you happen to live in North Carolina, Blue Cross is just one of those health plans you may like to get to know. We never know when we get sick so it is better to get ready in advance than late, right? God bless!

March 20, Spring 2011 Starts

It maybe late to talk about first day of Spring Season but at least it is still in the first week of spring. ;-) Why can't we talk about it, right? Okay, I was thinking of the rain. The first day of spring started with a rain. And there would be much more rain in the coming days. Spring season, a rainy season? Not before but this time as the weather forecast told. So, make sure you have rain boots and rain stuffs during this time. Or get ready for foods as it is hard to go grocery shopping and transferring it to your car and to the house as rain pours heavily.Well, not only foods (but it is basic) but also for appointments and other stuffs that you can do in advance before rain starting to fall down. You may not love rain when it comes to strolling outside during such times, just like me. Thanks goodness to TV and other technology that it is great to stay-at-home and still having fun, or at least we are entertained unlike just sleeping, eh? ;-) And so, happy spring!

Milk is Vital for Baby

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PBM Products for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Whatever place you are, if you are a mommy, milk is your priority as it is your baby's food. You know babies cannot eat regular foods yet from newborn up specific year, that is why milk is all for the baby. It has to be always present so anytime the baby likes to have it, he/she can drink it. Securing milk through breastfeeding or formula is what every responsible mommy does for her baby. Even if one breastfeed, still for some formula is needed once a child is starting to eat foods. Speaking of formula, I know nowadays folks like to do things the convenient and easy way as much as possible. Buying online is just as like buying stuffs on the next block or at your favorite store, only, it is convenient and easy. Formula like Bright Beginnings can be purchased online. You can have any choice of its four varieties and its three types of formula, which are: milk-based, soy-based and organic to which you can buy on diapers.com. Bright Beginnings currently offers free shipping for one to two days on order $49 above and 365 days money back guarantee. For more information and details, visit the provided link and check it out for yourself. It is also on Facebook by the way, so check out Bright Beginnings on Facebook! See yah there..

Bright Beginnings Formula

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PBM Products for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Milk is the bread and butter of a child. From the very first day up to how many years (or even if he/she still in mommy's tummy, milk is important to him/her) the child needs it. Everybody needs milk but baby's milk is different and for me, the important milk of all since a child is very sensitive enough and it's the young growth. Though breastfeeding is very much common nowadays but there is always a need for formula (like Bright Beginnings) especially for working mothers or to those who just don't want to breastfeed their babies. With that, formula is a basic. Just some info about Bright Formula. This has four varieties. And these includes Bright Beginnings Organics, Bright Beginnings Premium, Bright Beginnings Soy and Bright Beginnings Gentle. So if you have your baby's allergic into and Bright Beginnings has such, then lucky you. :-) Bright Beginnings can be bought anywhere and you can also buy on diapers.com. Bright Beginnings now offer 1-2 shipping on orders above $49 and free 365 day returns. So aside from easy buying of diapers, you can also have the convenient of buying formula specifically Bright Beginnings in one place. So it is just like hitting birds at one shot. :-) For more info and details, check out the provided link. Also it is great to check out  Bright Beginnings on Facebook and fan it!

Tomorrow Is a Busy Day

For me. I am still thinking of how to finish the 19 chapters to read (long pages each) for my Computer Repair class. That is one thing I would be busied tomorrow aside from I will have my first ob-gyn appointment at 9 a.m. I am happy though, thinking I can talk with her about my baby. :-) Excited, eh? Ha! I am thinking of having an ultrasound for how many weeks, well, it's some kind of standard operating procedure (SOP) anyway and I could never be happier then. :-) On the other hand, am still thinking of my lessons for Saturday. The last meeting we had primary disassembling, meaning, just for practice. This Saturday is a serious matter. So I need to be serious on my lessons and name every parts inside the computer. Ooh well. It is what I wanted at first anyway. But seems I am running out of time. It has been suggested, we have to finish two chapters every meeting but this hands-on complicates huh! I hope only this first time. Well, it needs reading and familiarizing in order to get the accurate name. Ooh well. The other thing on my mind which I have to accomplish tomorrow is the folding of clothes which I washed the other day. I have to do it, one at a time. I don't have to stress myself or my baby-in-my-tummy will be in trouble. :( Good luck to me then. Whew!
