Finding the Zip Code Extension

Zip code typically only consists of five(5) digits. It can be used with a typical mail. Zip code in USA has extensions but as I said it is not necessarily needed when mailing mails unless if it needs to have a complete one, or the one that has extensions. Like for example legalities, important documents needed like for example from Department of Homeland and Security and all such and alike. You might not know your address extension right at this moment or maybe you are checking in how? Then following is for you to know of how to do it. And so, how to get it? Just go to usps(dot)com and hover your cursor down to Get Zipcode. Enter complete address and there, voila! You now know your address zip code extension! Enjoy and happy knowing! ;-)

The Cyberattack

We have the most updated technologies, however, it also has its dilemma -- that is the threat of security called the cyberattack.

Cyberattack is now the top most priority of the online bankings, transactions and even giving one’s personal information. Cybercriminals work underground in black markets which buy and sell bank information of individual and/or corporation inorder to steal money. In most cases, Malware developers sell malicious software to hackers in an underground black market for the purpose of stealing accounts. Tip: Don't be fooled with email scam that you won millions or they have to get your information because you are the recipient of the will. BEWARE!

This can be prevented in a way that an individual should be very careful in browsing, downloading and even filling up any updates, forms and promos online. Its better to be safe and careful. Its like prevention is better than cure. Browse only secured sites and before filling up or signing up anything, search for any information like threads regarding the website, or better yet call!

This is also a lesson to online transactions that website security must be strong and couldn’t be bypass by just a malware.

Smartphone of Today, the Dream of Yesterday

When I was a kid, I don't have a phone. Then come college, I used to play with my cousin’s Nokia 3310 a black and white pure four liner text phone, which was considered as one the greatest phones ever during the time. To compare it today, I think if one has it, no one will admit. Or, do you?

To compare with the phones of today, like the iPhone 5 (the coming iPhone 5S, iPhon 5C),Samsung Galaxy S4’s Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen, HTC One’s amazing chassis with a lot of camera tricks, and first to introduce a Wireless charging phone that has a Windows 8 Operating System, Nokia Lumia 920 has it.

Yet to compare the real purpose of the phone which is to communicate with people through calls and texts, you cannot deny that the meat of the phones today are really in a distance of yesterday. Now, you can check your emails anywhere you are, chat with friends with the different social networking sites, endless updates with your photos, whereabouts and even the current event of your live sharing to our dear relatives and friends at far, and yes even free calls using Viber and Skype right from your phone anywhere you are provided you have the same type of phone. We don't need pc anymore to call from such. Smartphone can do!

But what we have now is not what will be forever, for improvements are still infinite when it comes to cameras, processors, batteries and even how we manipulate it. We might not know, the advance of technology in movies might be the reality in few years time.

iPad WiFi Turned-Off While Watching YouTube Video?

My daughter has iPad4. She uses it everyday, for an allocated time. Yes, you got it right, not all of the time in a day. And aside from watching the Apps I downloaded free or with payment from Apple business partners, I also use YouTube for her nursery rhymes and phonics songs as well as videos of toddlers eating independently as she's into eating as of this time. I love it when it has lyrics because I can also go with the flow of singing since it has lyrics. As of this time, she just listen as she's still familiarizing, though some she can already mimic, well, that few familiar ones.

I also like it in YouTube because it has nursery rhymes that it continues playing like 20-30 songs most. Then at times, it just stop because the wifi is turned-off. What's the solution?

The very simple way to solve that problem is to turn-on or connect the WiFi in the Settings. If it won't solve the problem, try to turned-off (yes, tap the "off" button in the WiFi section) and wait like 20 seconds then turn back on. It should work that way. I assume there's no problem with your Internet in your area, let alone your Internet speed should not be lower than 18 mbps or else there's a possible chance that your video streaming will going to have a problem, that's why you've got that problem.

Computer Stores

There are two basic kinds of stores that sell computers: retail outlets that stock name-brand computers and custom stores that build no-name computers to your specifications. There are advantages to both.

Retail Stores
Retail stores offer display models that can be tested, brand-name equipment and a larger technical support staff. But you are generally stuck with choosing from what’s on the shelves resources and may get a system that is difficult to upgrade because it uses proprietary hardware. Sales help is often uninformed.

Custom Stores
Do no-name computers really work? The answer is yes. Custom stores allow you to choose the components that you want to tailor your computer to your needs, based on your thoughts and ideas. They usually use brand-name internal components, but be sure to ask. The sales personnel are usually more knowledgeable than their counterparts at retail stores. The technical support and training available usually depends on the size of the store. There are larger chain custom stores that offer all the support and training that retail outlets do, but small local custom shops may fall short in these areas. Keep in mind that custom computers are generally easier to upgrade and may cost less than brand-name computers.

How to get Started On the Internet

Twenty years ago, few people had even heard of the Internet. Today, it is an integral part of the lives of millions, young and old, at home and at work. Recent estimates put the number of cyberspace users worldwide at more than 600 million or probably more, and project nearly half a billion will be online within five years. If you are not already among them, you are missing one of the most significant communications revolutions ever to shake the planet.

The Internet literally places all the information resources of the world at your fingertips. You can use the Internet to find and communicate with people who share your interests, talk to family and friends using Skype and Facebook, etc. Until you explore the World Wide Web, you cannot begin to comprehend the breadth or depth of all it offers. There is really not much required. All you need is a system, a connection, ideas, resources and curiosity.

Simpler, Faster, Safer Delivery at Lazada Philippines

In your own thoughts and idea, what do you think is the difference between the Starmobile Hit and Starmobile Enegry? They almost have the same looks, but there is a little difference when it comes to their features. The latter has more exciting features compared to the first one. In addition, Starmobile Hit is cheaper than the Starmobile Energy. To sum it up, these two gadgets are hit in the Filipino market, and surprisingly, Lazada offers a good deal. I am currently living here in the U.S. of A, and it won't stop from shopping a device, or gadget, etc. ( as you know it is like learning it keeps improving and evolving)  at this online store. I can shop from here and deliver my order to my family back home whenever I feel the need to. I was actually choosing between a Cherry Mobile tablet and Haipad tablet. But when it comes to the prices, the latter is cheaper (or shall I say the cheapest in Lazada store). I wanted to surprise my family with this gadget, maybe one day. They can download music, watch movie, play online games, surf the Internet, and a lot more. I have read some of the testimonies of their customers, and they have the same statement when it comes to the delivery of the product. So, I am not worried if I shop any product at this very well-known online store in the Philippines. In fact, I just had my first order and my family is satisfied of it, though there's one order which is of wrong size, but that is just fine because I had been given alternative like it's free shipping to return or exchange especially that it is not my fault. So overall, I like this store and I even love it! :)

Buying a Computer

Computers have become a common feature in many households. Whether you already have one in your home or are a first-time buyer, navigating the computer marketplace can be overwhelming. But, armed with great ideas and the knowledge of what you need as you thought imagining it would be, with good sources of information and a few good buying tips, you can get a great deal on the right computer.

To help you figure out what hardware you would need, think about what you would be doing with the processor. Are you using it for work, play, desktop publishing, or as an educational tool for children? For example: if you want to have Internet access, you would need a good modem. If you want to play games or use multimedia educational programs, your sound and video needs will increase.

A good way to get an idea of the computing power you would need is to visit a computer store and read the minimum requirements on the sides of software boxes that interest you.

Fast Internet Connection is A Must

If you're doing something in the computer, especially if it's important, fast Internet connection is very important.

If you thought, it is not a must, then you're wrong! That is because how could you do such if you're connection is just like a snail steps.

Alright. I can relate to that way, way back when I was still using my laptop and it's faraway from our router as well as we didn't upgrade the speed. Now (we actually upgrade it wayback 2011), it's faster, from 12 mbsps to 18 mbps. Streaming videos and watching in YouTube at the same time browsing Internet as well as browsing in my iPhone and iPad at the same time.

It does wonders. I am not dismayed (or even cried) anymore because of the slow Internet connection. I thought, upgrading it is worth it and yes, it really is! I'm a happy camper! I'm just sad of my friend because she has bad connection. :(

The Use of Viber

I was wondering what Viber is. I just don’t pay any attention for that because I did not really know what that was. I heard people talking about viber, until I bought my phone and I saw the Viber on my phone’s App or marketplace.  I tried installing it, and I ‘am so satisfied and happy whilst using it, amazing! Thanks to all my friends who also gave inputs after I asked from them, they're awesome ones!

So if you are not yet enjoying viber, check that application now and you will surely be happy you did it. As to my experience, I am satisfied in many ways.

How to Protect Virus from Your PC

I am always afraid that our computer will get virus anytime. I am online almost every day and the security for viruses must be of alert, if not always, it has to be every second. I have virus protector but I am still afraid. I don’t want to lose files again or anything in my PC or bookmarks, etc. More of that, it takes time and an effort to do all the stuffs to get back normally. It happened to me before and without any secured back-ups I lost all my files in the computer. It was really sad, that was lesson learned from then.

The term "virus" is also commonly, but erroneously, used to refer to that do not have a reproductive ability. They are many kinds of viruses that can harm your personal into it, but not all the time or a hundred percent antivirus can protect your personal computer, the other way to protect computer from virus- if you have a flash drive don’t insert it anywhere or to any computer, you must see to it that you must scan your flash drive before you transfer it or open it to other computer cause sometimes your flash drive may carry on viruses from other PC.

Instagram-ing or iPadgram-ing

Do you use Instagram (IG is the short-term name or an acronym for it) ? Me, yes I do, instagram is cool. This was launched last year around November last year. This is very easy to use. Before you can start using the app, Instagram will ask you to create a free account. All you need is a username and a password. The reason they require you to create an account is because Instagram is not just a photo app. It's also a popular social network. By the way, you can use your Facebook account to instantly create an account in IG.

If you have an iPhone or any smartphone then you can have Instagram at once. Just follow the instruction. Using Instagram, it also means that somehow, you are "In".. I tried loading my pictures using Instagram and got the best results. I can turn pictures great or as what I would like it, using different settings/colors and designs. Instagram in short is cool app and perfect for those who have smartphone. For iPad, it is called "iPadgram" as there is no Instagram app in iPad, iPadgram is just the same as Instagram, the only difference is when using Instagram -- you are using a smartphone, whilst an iPadgram -- you are using an iPad to access into it.

Enjoy Instagram-ing or iPadgram-ing fellas! :)

Protect Your Personal Data on the Internet

Web site clones can entrap the unwary. They really look legitimate, but are used by hackers to steal personal data. Example: One criminal cloned the site of an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and sent out E-mails asking customers to visit their ISP to confirm credit card data. Each E-mail contained a link to the phony site, where the hacker stole credit card numbers.

Your self-defense is to check a domain name using the WHOIS program, www.nsi.com. Type in the site’s Web address to see who operates it. If details do not match those of the legitimate site you wanted to visit, then you should not entertain that email, or stay away from it. One important thing also is to use Mozilla Firefox browser to which you have to check the website concern's SQL (you can do it by hovering your mouse to the circle just on the left side near of URL, if it says " This website does not supply identity information" then, you must be alarmed! Yes, be alarmed!

Only today, my dearie friend told me that she has an email from Paypal and was asking her to update her bank information or credit card information. Good thing, she knows it is not the legit PayPal. So, what she did was forward the email to PayPal, and had a great reply from them. They thanked her for forwarding that email and they told her that they would definitely investigate who operate such kind of Internet Mail (email).

So, be alarmed! Be cautious and exercise your guts and instinct! We know that our world is full of trickery, so be wary (or else you'll be sorry)!

Reliable Internet Service Provider

Almost everyone who loves internet surfing, chatting, loves to play games or loves to watch movies, as much as possible we wanted to have a fast and reliable internet connection. Most of the internet companies nowadays are claiming that they provide a high-speed internet connection. Some of them are honest, but there are also companies, for some reasons, failed to provide a high-speed internet connection. I already have heard from my friends that Comcast provides high-speed internet connection, that they are reliable and dependable when it comes to internet connection.

I haven’t tried to subscribe to this company yet, but I was planning to change my internet service provider, and I guess I found the right one for me. I have checked the website, and I found out that they offer internet options to choose from. The low-priced is the economy with a speed of 3 Mbps which already includes Constant Guard Online Protection. Other packages are Performance with a speed of 20 Mbps, Blast Plus with 30 Mbps, Extreme 50 with 50 Mbps, and Extreme 105 has the fastest speed. I wanted to shop for Blast Plus for they offer a great deal plus it includes Xfinity TV.
