Be Financially Wise

There is no nicer way to say it but poor people really die earlier, unfortunately. On the other hand, rich people usually but not always live longer. I am talking about the life of the Filipino people in the Philippines. In the Philippines, usually, people with lower income are affected with more diseases like tuberculosis, infectious diseases, malnutrition and even heart disease. You probably asked, why? Simply, because, poor people don’t have enough money for check-up, no money for medication, lack of education, and they prefer herbal medication, or go to a quack doctor, but the worst scenario is, they don’t have proper nutrition.

While having more money means better access to healthcare, the problem is in the process of earning that money. There was a time that I watched news from the Philippines, there was an old woman who has a bowel cancer. She worked so hard to earn several million pesos, yet, in the end, her hospital bills just drained away her life’s earnings. Net result equals zero money saved for her husband and children. The ideal scenario is to try to gain wealth, without sacrificing your health.

Longing of my Birth Country

Suddenly I miss my birth country Philippines! This is a normal feeling that a person who lives far away from where she grew up suddenly feel lonely. I am not alone in this situation, I have friends online who lives in different part of the world and they also shared their loneliness and they are missing home. The only thing to do is to call them, as I cannot fly and visit them right away! Good that I have Sam and I have hubby to cheers me up in this time of longing. Am I in the drama mode? Okay, drama mode on. Well, let me say YES! But I accept the fact that everything will be alright. So I’d rather have to do some house chores to ease this loneliness. I will be fine in an hour. LOL! Anyway, I have to update my blogs too. I need to check emails too and eliminate some spams.

Have a great day everyone!

Worrying Kills!

If you are a worrier then we are in the same boat. And I agree that worrying kills if you are over the limit. Sometimes life is unfair and we don’t know why things happen to us. But on the other side, being worried to some things can result positive, but, mostly worrying is not healthy. Your mind and body are both tired because of worries. Sometimes I do avoid worrying, but sometimes I cannot help but to give up! Not totally giving up but having some pause, helps!

Life is too short as we always heard from others too! I agree with this, so if possible we have to think in positive ways and leave all our worries aside. Worrying kills your life! This is just a reminder, everything happens for a reason so keep away from worrying if possible. Live life to the fullest and try to talk your worries with a person whom you trusted! --- just my two cents of my thoughts and ideas. :)

Ways to Beat Boredom

Living alone can be peaceful and quiet. However, it can also be isolating. If you are feeling a bit lonely, the following resources can help you connect with others and stay actively involved in life.

Adopt a Pet. If you know a place where you could adopt a pet such as dog, cat, rabbit or even a pig if you wanted, then do it without hesitation. However, when you adopt a pet like dog or cat, make sure that it has complete vaccinations, spaying, or neutering, and as much as possible; buy a starter kit that includes a pet-care booklet and videotape.

On the other hand, if you are not a pet lover, why not invite your friends to come over on weekends or holidays, and host a little party in your home. If you have the passion in writing, create a blog and share your daily experiences. You can do it on your leisure time or when you’re feeling bored. I tell you, blogging is awesome. You will meet people around the world.
