My Wednesday Wickedness: Simon Cowell

Hi and welcome to our brand new Wednesday Wickedness. We are like other memes in that we will ask you ten questions each and every Wednesday. But our little "twist" is that each week we will pick a famous person and pick ten of their quotes. Each of our questions will be based on the quotes. Got it? Great! Let's begin this week's meme!

Today we picked Simon Cowell. Here's Wednesday Wickedness!
And as always, ten (10) questions above my takes/answers, and here they are:

1. “If your lifeguard duties were as good as your singing, a lot of people would be drowning.” How well do you swim?
My take: Laugh my armpit off! LMAO! Ha ha ha! Okay, you win, am not that good in singing but I believe if practice would makes it perfect, I would strive hard to practice before being in front of you (Simon Cowell), I know you are slightly sarcastic.. *wink* With that, I will swim as I can or won't.. Ha ha ha! ;-)

2. “I think he knows how to articulate something that people are entertained by and still be true to the message he's trying to send, ... very aware of himself.” How self aware do you think you are?
My take: I think, I am enough aware of my self. I just don't want to hurt other people's feelings but I guess he just doing his job. That's how it would be like to have his image or that's what he is in reality? Hemm.. whatever.. Ha! ;-)

3. “If you've got a big mouth and you're controversial, you're going to get attention.” Who has a big mouth that you like?
My take: Kris Aquino for my home country and him (Simon Cowell) because he's just being himself. That's what make him more famous, I guess. Folks who know his personality and attitude, is aware already but if not, I don't what's the reactions. Am glad Kris Aquino is not that tactless now, she's just being herself too. :)

4. “I think you have to judge everything based on your personal taste. And if that means being critical, so be it. I hate political correctness. I absolutely loathe it.” Do you believe in political correctness?
My take: I don't want to answer this. I will just discreetly told you later. (LOL) Seriously, seems to me a very serious matter, I don't want to tell if am not that sure.

5. “I find Paula patronizing. It's as simple as that. Paula is more damaging than I am to these contestants because a lot of people just shouldn't be singing for a living.” Do you ever patronize people?
My take: Yep, some but not that much, perhaps adore. :)

6. “Not everybody is perfect, and I don't think we should be looking for perfect people.” Do you or someone you know strive constantly to be perfect?
My take: I believe of "practice makes perfect" but I don't believe someone is perfect. I don't think someone strive constantly to be perfect other than he/she is practicing it so it won't happen again (the mess) especially if he/she is an athlete or one makes it for a living.

7. “I never want to hear that song again. I cannot stand it. I'm allergic to it.” What song are you totally sick of and why?
My take: The song that don't suits to my mood of that time. There's nothing particular that am allergic to that song except if the one that sings is not in tune.. ;-)

8. “I like the fact that they're cocky now from the age of four.” How old were you when you got cocky? What changed to make you so?
My take: Cocky? Hemmm.. I guess.. ahhh.. secret... I won't tell you... (LOL) Will save it for the next time.. for thrill! Haha! I would just like to answer the follow-up question, okay, oops.. next time too.. okay? I will just tell you next time.. :) Or I don't know if everyone should pass this stage. Hemmm.. (thinking).. :)

9. “And there's more open hostility among them because the competition is so intense.” When you compete with someone, have you ever gotten hostile?
My take: Perhaps before but now, am more calm. Yes, it's a competition but that's what competition is --- there's a winner and there's a looser. So be it. Accept it, wholeheartedly. As long as you are doing your best, so no regrets.

10. “Why are you having a normal conversation with him? This is a dairy farmer dressed as a woman.” Do you talk differently to someone because of the way that they are dressed?
My take: Nope, I don't talk differently to someone because of that way he/she/they dressed as long they are not making foolishness or acting up. ;-)

That's all folks! At long last, that ten long questions are over. Haha! Anyway, am having fun so it's worth the time, doesn't you? Oops, you must be thankful that it's over that you can now gasp your breathe. Haha.. just kidding.. so then, what's your take about it? Can I/we hear your side? Come on.. don't be shy.. ;-) Give your thought/s about it.. show us your resources (mind; brain; knowledge; your take; opinion)... Have a great Thursday! Smile..
