My Wednesday Wickedness Takes on Featuring Whoopi Goldberg
Hi and welcome to Wednesday Wickedness! We are like other memes in that we will ask you ten questions each and every Wednesday. But our little "twist" is that each week we will pick a famous person and pick ten of their quotes. Each of our questions will be based on the quotes. Got it? Great! Let's begin this week's meme!
Today we picked Whoopi Goldberg. Here's Wednesday Wickedness! - by: Janera Jepson
1. An actress can only play a woman. I'm an actor, I can play anything. My take: Maybe, just only maybe if I could experience any life form that not a human of my sex, I would like to experience how it is like becoming a James Bond. I do not know but it only comes to my mind being a guy, if only I could experience it, transform my body into a male. Ha! :-)
If you could experience any life form that was not a human of your sex, what would you pick and why?
2. For some reason, all artists have self-esteem issues. My take: Ahemmm.. I guess we all have it, or maybe not? Oops, you have said it so, and I believe it. For me, being in a crowd to which I have to stand and lead something then I do not know how to begin or to perform it. Or even if I know but sometimes the crowd seems bugging up to which I do not know then what to do, seems like I am not worth such (situation-related). :(
Do you have any self esteem issues? Do tell. (Since we all do.)
3. I am the American Dream. I am the epitome of what the American Dream basically said. It said, you could come from anywhere and be anything you want in this country. That's exactly what I've done.My take: Yes, I do believe in American Dream if a person is responsible enough. Meaning, does what this country expect his/her to be or he/she has it in mind of "what he can do for this country", does his/her responsibilities (including rights, of course), being a good legal person and service and works hard and smartly to attain his dream (American Dream).
Do you believe in the American Dream or has it passed through time?
4. I don't have pet peeves, I have whole kennels of irritation. My take: Yes, am not fond of pets. Perhaps because I am lazy to feed them. Haha! Kidding aside but it's true, am not closing my book (maybe one day I would love to have pet) though. And what irritates me today is the white spots on my skin, I really need to take a shower. LOL! Nah, it's my hurting lips due to cold sore.
It's been asked before, probably weekly, but what's irritating you today?
5. I don't look like Halle Berry. But chances are, she's going to end up looking like me.My take: I cannot think as of now what I'll end up with. Maybe a combination of my father and mother but in a positive better way, maybe a combination of my close relatives attitude. Maybe yes, maybe no but since they are my close ones, maybe I'll end up like them but a better one. :-)
What do you think you'll end up looking like? (A picture would help.)
6. I grew up in a time when it would never have occurred to anyone to tell me there was anything I couldn't do.My take: Yes there is that someone or few of them told me that I could not do it or I'll end up like someone or worse. They tried to pull me down but I did not care of it. I still did the good way for my life to become better. They are just jealous or wants to get attention. He/she is a devil of my choice and I managed to get rid of her, thanks to God for being with me all the time. Prayer and action really helps.
Has anyone told you that you could not do something?
7. I want Carl Sagan to explain the sky to me.My take: Yes, my ever dearest maternal grandfather and step grandma (and my paternal grandparents) whom they're with Jesus now, I would like to talk to. It's just that I want to see them and have a conversation. They are wonderful. I wish they are still here now.
Is there anybody dead that you'd like to talk to?
8. If every American donated five hours a week, it would equal the labor of 20 million full-time volunteers. My take: I have not done yet volunteer work here in USA but I would love to. It would be fun and an accomplishment.
Have you ever done volunteer work?
9. It's being willing to walk away that gives you strength and power - if you're willing to accept the consequences of doing what you want to do.My take: I haven't ever walked away from a job and regretted it. There are times to which I am just wondering if I am what I am now if I still with such job. Then such a relieve after wards. I think first before I act and made sure it would be more than half of a hundred percent that I won't regret my decision. It would be final then, no regrets. Just have to move forward and think great ahead with action.
Have you ever walked away from a job and regretted it?
10. Normal is in the eye of the beholder. My take: What kind of question is this. Really pretty wicked. LOL! YEP, AM NORMAL, aren't you? Alright, am normal since I think normally. I act normally and not psychopath or alike! Do I look angry, not. Just saying. :-))
Are you normal? Explain.
And so have a great Wednesday ahead! Have a pretty wicked one! LOL!
