PC Can't Recognize Blank DVD's

It is my lappy toppy's problem. The last time I load my blank DVD on my laptop, it still fine and even saved pictures. But then DH bought several (I think this is about 50-60 pieces in one plastic pack) DVD-R along with the blank DVD I put my pictures in. But then he could not saved something on it. Well, actually he did not put/save pictures but files from Internet to which it need authorization to download and do something in the pc to which it is part of the files. It did went on but it won't save in a snap, but too long to do it. Until then, he asked my solution and I tried to put it on my laptop's player and read such. But then it would read. Then after that, the other (or all of the) blank DVD's won't save anymore or should I say my laptop won't recognize the blank DVD anymore. Meaning, even if the DVD is inside the player/burner, the laptop would say nothing's in there. I tried several blank DVD's but to no avail. I even researched in the Internet and applied those solutions but still. :( So for now, I can't use it yet. Maybe you could help me with it? I would appreciate much of your input. Well, I will continue looking for the solution of it. Then will update you. Until then..
