How to Make a Quick Safe Buck

Are you late on your rent? Do you not have enough money to fill you car with gas so you can get to work? Don’t turn to payday loans just yet; as these can be extremely dangerous and get you into more financial trouble then you were in in the first place. If all your available funds and credit sources are tapped out here are four alternative ways to make money.

Offer to Watch Pets or Children, or House-sit

If you are a reliable adult you could make a pretty penny by hitting up moms and dads in your neighborhood for child sitting jobs. Babysitting can actually be extremely lucrative and does not take a huge amount of effort. Reliable and adult babysitters are in demand, as a parent wants their child to be taken care of by someone they can trust. You can ask for upwards of $15 an hour as a babysitter. If kids aren’t your things than you can always housesit for your neighbors, or take care of one of their pets.

Start Your Own Business From Home

You could market yourself as your neighborhood’s computer repair man or woman if you have any amount of computer skills. Or if you like to cook you could began a catering business out of your own home. Be aware that if you need cash quickly, there are a few limits to what sort of business would be lucrative for you. If your first attempt at a business isn’t successful don’t be afraid to try again.

Rent Out Your Parking Space

If you are the owner of a prime parking spot, you could make a substantial amount of cash simply by renting it out. You will have the added benefit of getting in some exercise by being forced to park further away than what you’re used to. This is especially lucrative if you live close to a means of public transportation or in a big city.

Find an Online Job

The Internet is a very good place to make some money as long as you know where to look. Just be cautious to not fall for any Internet scams, and make sure you are using a legitimate website. Amazon is one such legitimate source of making cash online. All you need to do is sign up for Amazon’s Mechanical Turk, which is a program where companies post easy tasks that only humans can do. Be wary that if you want to make a decent amount of cash using this method you have to show dedication, and have a substantial amount of time on your hands.
